Our curriculum has a strong emphasis on developing our children emotionally and mentally through working on our core framework and providing them with a wide range of emotional and mental health strategies and interventions. We offer a wide range of support and curriculum provision aimed at developing and supporting young people's and families mental health. This begins with our My Happy Minds Curriculum in F1 up to Y6.
We are proud to be a part of the myHappymind Family and hold their Bronze level accreditation.
As a whole school program grounded in science and dedicated to building positive mental wellbeing, myHappymind helps children understand how their brains work and supports them in developing the skills and habits to be their very best selves!

We also offer small group and 1:1 counselling through weekly sessions with the Wirral Mental Health Support Team. The MHST team can also support parents and have offered training to staff and other adults.

Our full time learning mentor Mrs Pagan is avaiable for children to speak to and offer support in a range of ways. She is a trained ELSA practitioner.
The whole school teaches children to recognise their feelings and grow in resilience through use of the Zones of Regulation . Mrs Reeve runs workshops for parents about how you can also use this approach at home.
